Ralph & the Rhythm Hounds is a quintessential "Cincinnati Blues" band formed around the father and son team of Ralph and Noah Cave. The band features Noah, who is his family’s fourth generation Blues guitarist. Noah has an explosive Blues style, deeply rooted in the Cincinnati Blues artists like H-Bomb Ferguson, and America’s Postmodern Blues style. Noah is a Blues In The Schools prodigy, mentored by John Redell. Noah participates in the annual Cincy Blues Challenge with the commitment of going to the Memphis IBC to show students of the program that the Cincy Blues Society’s "Blues In The Schools" program does provide musical opportunities for its performers dedicated to "Keeping the Blues Alive." The vocal, lead and rhythm guitar work of Ralph and Noah, combined with the music of multi-talented drummer Calvin Todd, and very talented bassist Scar Tucker results in Blues music which makes this band a must see "Cincinnati Blues" band.
