Award Winning David Burk & Bob Lese Blues Duo

Traditional acoustic blues featuring winners of the 2022 Cincy Blues Challenge and competitors in the 2023 International Blues Challenge in Memphis! Delta and Piedmont guitar work from Bob, who also performs as part of the Queen City Resonators. (Watch out–he just might slip in a tune or two on one of the area’s few blues mandolins!) Railroad bench harmonica from David, who also writes and sings wry, personal blues straight from the deep tradition. Also a “cover band,” paying homage to Tarheel Slim, Blind Boy Fuller, John Lee Hooker and Muddy Waters!
