Challenge 2013: Hoot and Annie

Bill Michael W and Denise Daly joined forces 2 years ago and formed the group called Hoot and Annie.  They cover a variety of genres including Blues, Folk, Pop, Classic Rock, and Jazz.  They take you on a trip down memory lane, reminding you of the songs you forgot that you loved!

Bill began playing guitar at 10 years old and joined his first band at the age of 14. They played at local bars, festivals and clubs around Cincinnati. The gig was almost up when they played at a bar his father frequented.  However, all was well and his father supported his music. Bill took a sabbatical from 1975-1996 to raise a family . He has now rejoined the Cincinnati music circuit and plays festivals, blues jams and assorted venues around cincinnati. Bill fulfilled a life long dream and jammed on Beale St in Memphis. He is a multi skilled musician who plays a variety of instruments and genres.

Denise Daly began playing guitar and singing at the age of nine. Her early influence and interest in music has stayed with her through the years. Like Bill, Denise also took a long sabbatical from music and has only started playing again in the past couple years.  Delta Blues, Jazz, and Traditional Folk music have remained a constant favorite through the years,
