Congratulations to Cincy Blues Challenge Winners

On Sunday afternoon June 9, ten bands and solo/duo acts competed in a judged competition at Element Eatery in Madisonville. It was a beautiful day and they were able to open the large garage windows and let the outside in. There was a full house at the benches and tables, the bar, and outside on the patio. The amount of talent in the room was tremendous, and the audience gave their appreciation with applause, whoops, and hollers.

When all the dust cleared and the scores were tallied, the following acts came out on top – congratulations! The first place winners are eligible to compete in Memphis, TN at the International Blues Challenge, and will also appear at this summer’s Cincy Blues Fest, Saturday, July 13 at Fairfield Village Green Park. Many thanks to the independent judges who gave their time to volunteer, and to all the other volunteers who made this event happen.
