Many of you may remember touring blues artist, John Nemeth, who appeared at the Cincy Blues Fest in 2005.
John needs help from the blues community. He has had to cancel his tour. He has a benign, but fast growing, tumor in his lower jaw. Most of his lower jaw will need to be removed. To give him the best chance of being able to still be a harmonica player and singer when the surgery is over, he’s had to go to a specialized surgeon who is out of his insurance network. The medical bills are estimated to be $135,000.
John’s family has set up a Go Fund Me. You can click on the link to the Go Fund Me to read more details about what’s going on. We know these are tough times for a lot of people – please considering donating, even if it’s just a little bit.
