Saturday afternoon jam. We think it starts at 5pm, but you might want to check on that to make sure. This jam is more eclectic; you can hear blues, folk, and 60's rock. Everyone sits around in a circle at a table and takes turns picking songs, singing, playing solos, etc. The volume is low enough to hear singers without a PA.

Hosted by Them Bones, 8 pm

Cheryl Renee with Them Bones, hosts the Mansion Hill Blues Jam at the Mansion Hill Tavern,  502 Washington Avenue, Newport, Kentucky every Sunday at 8:00.  The Jam has been held  there for about 18 years, making it the longest running Blues Jam in the Cincinnati area,  if not one of the longest running Jam in the whole country.

It started with the founders of  the Cincinnati Blues Society as an after-meeting Jam and has continued on ever since,  at first every other week.  Larry Malott and his band Them Bones started hosting the Jam in 2001 and started having the Jam every Sunday and we have some of the finest musicians  in the Cincy area join us every week, usually 25 or 30 players or more will show up to play  and show off their talent.  We have had musicians from as far away as Turkey and Russia  stop in to play.  So we are known internationally, as well as many great musicians who will  stop in every time they are in town.

Nearly every Blues Band in the Cincy area can trace  their roots to the  Mansion Hill Blues Jam.
