Blues Fest Presented By

2009 Cincy Blues Fest

It’s time to call on our loyal and dedicated volunteers.

Back for its 17th year, the Cincy Blues Fest brings over 30 local, national, and international blues acts to the banks of the Ohio River, at Sawyer Point Park.

Friday, August 7th & Saturday, August 8th

We need your help, it can’t be done with out YOU!

The Blues Fest is produced solely by volunteers. Each year, nearly 400 area volunteers make this event possible.  Volunteering to work at the Cincy Blues Festival is an excellent opportunity to meet new friends, reacquaint yourself with old friends, and show attendees some good old-fashioned hospitality- Cincinnati style! For many of our volunteers, the Cincy Blues Festival has become a yearly labor of love.

Opportunities include site set up, merchandise and membership sales, parking attendants, beverage booths, surveys, volunteer sign-in and site tear down.  We will need help Thursday through Sunday the weekend of the event.

You can sign up via this website, or e-mail volunteers@cincyblues.org or call Patrick McNearney at 314-740-4364 or Eric Platt at 513-379-8604

All requests will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. Special consideration may be granted for special skills and experiences.

All volunteers are invited to a Volunteer Orientation Party on Thursday evening, August 6th at 7:00 P.M. under the Arches at Sawyer Point. This party will involve a short volunteer orientation, free beverages and food, and live music by the Greg Clark Trio! We encourage everyone to attend.
