Fred Gillespie — Guitar, vocals
Current lead guitarist-vocalist for The Beaumonts. Fred has been playing guitar since 1969 and began performing publicly and professionally in 1972. Fred has performed on live television and radio, served as the late Eddie King’s lead guitarist in Eddie’s last local appearances, has appeared in numerous Dayton and Cincinnati area blues festivals, and recorded with Prince producer David Z (Rivkin) and Bob Dylan producer Micajah Ryan.
Greg Calvert — Bass guitar, vocals
Greg has been a professional musician since 1965 where he began career as a member of Gary and the Hornets (Mercury Records recording artists) at the age of 13 with his two brothers Gary (11) and Steve (8). Their record releases included Hi Hi Hazel, and Kind of a Hush. From 1965-1970 they had national TV performances on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson, Mike Douglas Show, and Where the Action Is. Greg was a member of several other bands over the last 49 years, including East End Blues Band, Albert Taylor, Jumbo Jr., Nerak Roth Patterson Band and Scotty Bratcher Band. Greg features Conklin 7-String Basses, Hartke Bass Amplification, Boss Bass Effects.
Paul Goodwin — Keyboards, vocals
Paul has been playing professionally since 1964 with The Intruders (1964-1966), a Top-40 rock band in the Dayton-Cincinnati-Oxford area who were regulars for WSAI and WING radio station events at LeSourdsville Lake Stardust Gardens, Forest Park Arena (Dayton), Kettering Skating Rink. Notable warmup gigs were with Rick and the Raiders (the McCoys), Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels, Billy Joe Royal, Roger Miller, and Lonnie Mack. Paul played in The Trux (1966-1968), a soul-blues band that played all over Cincinnati-Dayton-Oxford area, and were regulars at The Boar’s Head club in Oxford. Paul also played in Seagull (1972-1975, Wichita, KS), an original and classic rock band that played all over Kansas.
Steve Barton — Drums, vocals
Steve has been playing drums for over 35 years and has performed in many successful local bands, including Jumbo Jr., the Beaumonts, Raised By Possums, and the Gregg Clark band. His recording experience includes working with noted producers Micajah Ryan (Bob Dylan, Megadeth) and David “Z” Rivken (Prince), and he has performed at venues such as the Chicago Fun Fest, Elvis Presley’s in Memphis, and the Crossroads Music Showcase in Memphis.
