Born from a chance meeting at a contest where the two of the three members of Pett Crow were competing against each other, drummer Brandon Pettiford (age 14), bassist Julia Crow (age 15), and guitarist vocalist Wes Crow (age 16) are quickly making a name for themselves and developing a strong following along the festival circuit. As to what to expect on stage when they perform? Their ages shouldn’t fool you; they play like seasoned musicians with a big repertoire of blues standards, and a good mix of their own originals.
They bring the musicianship of seasoned professionals, youthful energy, and a powerful, unforgettable stage presence that audiences continue to talk about long after the show has ended.
Steadily building their career, with each year being better than the last, they are paying their dues and building a strong fan base as the future of the blues. The results of hard work, long rehearsals and pure talent are two CD’s of their own original music. Their second CD, “Confessions,” was nominated for the 2014 IBC Best-Self Produced CD Award by both the Columbus Blues Alliance and the Pomeroy Blues & Jazz Society!
